This policy explains how Kshitij Rajput (trading as Veeyu Global) ("StainBite", "we") collects and uses your personal data when you use stainbite.com or buy from us. We follow applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as it comes into force.

1. What we collect

  • Order details: name, phone, email, shipping and billing address, and the products you bought.
  • Payment: payments are processed by our payment partner (Razorpay). We don't store your card, UPI PIN or bank login details.
  • Support: messages, photos and videos you send us.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser, pages viewed and cookies, collected through Shopify, analytics and advertising tools (Meta Pixel, Google Analytics/Ads).

2. Why we use it

  • To process, ship, confirm (including COD calls and WhatsApp messages) and support your orders.
  • To prevent fraud and repeated failed deliveries.
  • To send order updates. With your consent, we may also send offers, which you can opt out of anytime.
  • To improve our website and measure our ads.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

3. Who we share it with: only the service providers we need to run the store:

  • Shopify (hosting)
  • payment gateways
  • courier and logistics partners (name, address and phone, for delivery)
  • WhatsApp and SMS/email providers
  • analytics and advertising platforms (Meta, Google)
  • government authorities, when the law requires it

We don't sell your personal data.

4. Cookies: we use cookies for the cart, checkout, analytics and ads. You can block cookies in your browser, but parts of the site may then stop working.

5. Retention: we keep order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires (generally up to 8 years for invoices). Other data is kept only as long as we need it for the purposes above.

6. Your rights: you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent to marketing, by emailing stainbitesupport@gmail.com. We'll respond within 30 days.

7. Security: we use reasonable safeguards. Payments run on PCI-DSS-compliant gateways. No online system is 100% secure.

8. Children: our products are household chemicals and are sold only to adults (18+).
